For this tasting, we decided to stay away from the famed Napa and Sonoma and visit some other option inside the state which makes 80% of American wine. We are taking a journey to the Central Coast.

What are California Central Coast Wines Located?
It is probably where you think .... California's Central Coast links 250 miles of coastline vineyard into one vast American Viticulture Area (AVA) between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Spanning 30 sub-AVAs, the region's 100,000 acres of vineyard share a common thread: the west coast marine effect, which moderates warm temperatures during the growing season. Yet each vineyard represents dramatic differences in climate and soil, stitching together an incredibly diverse wine map.

We will adventure into Paso Robles for a few wines and even taste one from a winery I visited recently. We will also diversify with a few other sub AVAs and also try unique blends, unique grapes, and taste a few wines that scored high with the “experts.” We can judge their decisions as we always do.
In our California central coast wine tasting we will sample a Grenache Blanc, a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, a Zinfandel and a GSM blend too. Three reds and two whites make up our selection for this tasting. You can also purchase all 5 personally curated wines for approximately $120.

What to Expect at a Virtual Wine Tasting
I am ready to guide you on a wine journey from the comforts of your home. The tasting will be similar to the French Favourties Tasting and all the others and be held via zoom. This is my 9th, so feel free to organize an event, a party or a date night, or join us solo and be part of the zoom tasting family from the comforts of your place. I will entertain you (and your guests) for 90 minutes as we travel and taste five personally curated wines for this event.
